About me

I'm Kate Crane and I started Jellybean Business Support in April 2011. My background is in IT, mostly in support and management, and I had 22 years experience working in the industry, both in client organisations such as NatWest and Luminar Leisure, and service providers like SunGard Public Sector. In 2009, I left the industry after taking voluntary redundancy.

I started Jellybean because I wanted to use my skills to help others with their business and was finding it hard to find work that reflected my skillset and experience, whilst remaining flexible. I saw many people with growing small businesses that needed help to allow them to focus on their core business yet couldn't afford regular help or to hire a member of staff. I decided I could help them by offering a flexible solution - a resource that they can use as and when they needed it, to take the pressure off and allow them to concentrate on doing work for their business that earns them money. I can also provide cover for employee absences for those businesses who do have employees, offering a seamless service to ensure your customers continue to receive great service.
